Kindred Centre Therapists

Kia ora, ko Georgia tōku ingoa. Everyone deserves to feel at home in their body, connected in their relationships, and empowered to live authentically. Supporting people to rediscover pleasure, confidence, and freedom is what inspires me and guides my practice as a therapist. Sessions with me are talking-based and if desires, I can incorporate somatic practices (movement, breathwork and tailored meditations), depending on your preferences. When you first contact me I take the time to understand what matters most to you within a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental context. Together, we explore what’s going on right now, and trial tools, rituals and psychoeducation in order to move forward towards your goals.
My clients report:
I am a registered Occupational Therapist and accredited Life Coach, Mindfulness and Yoga instructor. I weave together my training in ACT, CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, rainbow inclusion, sexuality and intimacy work, and spiritual/wairua experiences to give a holistic perspective on wellbeing. Outside of my practice, I am also a professional dancer, putting me in a good position to support artists as well. I have a special interest in pleasure as a practice and just this year published a book, “Have a Good One; a book about sex, but more importantly pleasure”.
