Bio:
My name is Helen Bowler and I am a therapist with 18 years experience both in private practice and as a school counsellor. I am based in North Canterbury and my private practice includes equine assisted therapy, telehealth, small figure work and in person sessions.

My belief is that we are mind, body and spirit. I therefore endeavour to look at all aspects of my client’s lifestyle to enable wellness. I offer an eclectic style of counselling and alongside the counselling modalities, I incorporate education and skills to assist everyday living.

Parenting skills is something I am passionate about and it is a privilege and a pleasure to work with clients using Equine Assisted Therapy where I utilise my own horses into a programme with the client and the horse. This work can be discussed at any stage and utilised in your therapy journey. I look forward to our work together.

Warmest Regards,

Helen
